New Year Tax Time - 1099s for Interpreters

A New Year is here and that means it's time for taxes. Simply Interpreting is working hard to calculate all of your wages for the year in preparing your 1099 form. It's important that we have your updated W9 with all of your current information. Simply Interpreting is required to submit your finalized 1099 to the IRS on/before January 31st of every year.

Our Controllers team will soon be e-mailing your 1099 form to you in PDF format. Your 1099 form will only be issued via E-mail to your E-mail on record with our Controllers team. Double-check that your spam filters are set appropriately and whitelist our domain. It is also prudent to check your spam folder daily for any mismarked emails. Simply Interpreting will only issue 1099 forms for those who earned in excess of US $600 during the year.

Once you receive your 1099 form from us via E-mail, double-check all of your personal details are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify our Controllers team by replying to the E-mail within 24 hours for corrections. Please email us promptly as the 1099 will be made final 24 hours after sent to you.

Happy New Year and here's to a better and stronger 2021!
